DESCRIPTION:

Clinics will have multiple hitting and fielding stations - basic individualized fundamental instruction will be given to players during their time in the cages. 

Instructor to player ratio will be based on number of participants - no less than a 5:1 ratio.

Bat speed, throwing speed and running speed are tools every player desires. Players are introduced to a specific series of plyometric and resistance exercises along with workout routines to their position and age level. On-the-Diamond integrates agility, speed training, flexibility, and weight training into every part of our teaching model.

 

Strength & Hitting Program includes:

 -Sprint Speed Improvements–Agility and Range of Motion Improvements–Plyometric and Strength Training–Flexibility and Injury Prevention – Group Hitting Instruction

DESCRIPTION:

MINORS-

It's never too early for fitness and fun!  Introduce your child to America's favorite pastime with The Baseball Academy Little Sluggers Program.  Little Sluggers Program is designed to teach the next generation of baseball and softball players the rules and core skills of the game.  The 6 to 8 year olds will start to learn proper throwing - hitting and fielding techniques in a non-competitive group session.  Instructors will also put emphasis on group rules and teammate interaction to foster a positive team environment. 

MAJORS-

The emphasis of the Majors group will be fundamental aspects of body movement to help aid in baseball throwing - hitting and fielding mechanics. Understanding of the core aspects of mechanics and game terminology will be a primary focus. Body control will also be an additional focus within mechanical drills in order to help gain full function of their movements.

MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

Interpretation of Player Levels to choose the appropriate instructor for your needs-

Novice

- Tee Ball / Minors / Majors / LL / MS / JV / HS player with very limited or no previous one on one professional instruction

Intermediate

Minors / Majors / LL / MS / JV / HS player with limited one on one professional instruction and/or plays with localized / league travel team

Advanced

- Majors / LL / MS / JV / HS player with more regular one on one professional instruction and plays on high level regional travel or showcase team

Elite

- HS Varsity player currently on regional or national showcase team / current collegiate player

Professional

- Current professional player in for the off-season
